after 4 long years of battling cancer, my kuya frank, 42 years old, who is also my godfather-- passed away just last week on oct 6, 2010. he was given 2 months to live 3 weeks ago, but is now resting in peace with God above.
this song is dedicated to kuya frank and his wife ate rhea. although he knew he was going before her, i feel like this song was his song to her. about him following her into the dark-- or wherever she may go. and to their son lil frankie, can't wait for you to grow up so i can share stories with you about your dad, i, and ur uncle rb. love and miss you kuya frank, thanks for teaching me that there's more to being a godson than filipino family parties and money. tell my dad i said hello and i miss him tremendously. hope you enjoy the song.
